**The Excursion:
DAY 1**

Scouting 1st Hex:
Wisk climbs tree to top, takes time, and sees to the west, a termite hill. Very large, big as a small building
Marshy area to the east, few large animals wading in water. See flying fish that fly into the air w/ long tails
Safer place to go is North or South
Spiral around clockwise of the current hex
1st 2 hours squiggling map, it isnt quite right
Found a water spring
Feel confident that it smells okay, a little mineral contact
Tasted water, seems fine

Look up and see a flying snake monster gliding toward me, looks similar to the ones I saw

DAY 2

Got the flower and dried it out; saved honey from it in an acorn along w/ the stamen
